In this governance basics module of the Foundations 101 virtual seminar, you will get a basic understanding of how boards can be structured and steps staff or trustees should consider, to ensure smooth operations of the board so that the grantmaking work is minimally impacted by change. By the end of this module, participants will be able to identify administrative tasks that, when taken care of, maintain the workings of the board both structurally (i.e. foundation documents) and operationally (i.e. term limits and orientation).
