Join the Northern Ohio Local Engagement Group (LEG) for a site visit to Max S. Hayes High School to see WIRE-Net’s hands-on youth workforce program in partnership with the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. Get an overview of WIRE-net programming, hear from some students about their participation in the programs, and have a short tour of the labs. Lunch will also be provided.
WIRE-Net is a 25-year-old nonprofit economic development organization dedicated to improving the community through nurturing manufacturing and the jobs and prosperity that comes with it. Max S. Hayes High School provides a career technical education curriculum offering students the opportunity to pursue four different career or educational paths after graduation.
Who Should Attend
LEG programs provide opportunities for Exponent Philanthropy members to connect with and learn from other funders with few or no staff in their community. These programs are planned and hosted by members with support from both Exponent Philanthropy staff and regional associations.
