The member discussion community is a collection of online discussion lists where members are encouraged to ask questions, share successes, and respond to other members with tips and good practices.
Participation in these communities is an exclusive member benefit and a wonderful way to connect with other funders. If you’re ready to join the discussion, read our tips sheet, or click on one of the lists below:
- General Discussion List – For all topics related to philanthropy with few or no staff
- Community Foundations – For members that are Community Foundations
- International Philanthropy – For funders interested in global philanthropy
- Very Small Funders – For funders with less than $5 million in assets and 1 or no paid staff

Advisors and consultants who are not trustees or staff, or who do not serve functionally as staff, are not eligible to participate in the community.
