The National Conference offers timely and relevant educational content for staff, donors, and trustees at all levels of experience and serving all types of foundations (including community and family foundations) as well as individual donors, donor advised fund holders and managers, philanthropic service professionals, and thought leaders in the field of philanthropy.
With three days of provocative plenary sessions, interactive learning models, inspirational site visits, and shared knowledge from peers across the country, you’ll return home with the tools, relationships, and renewed commitment you need to make the most of your giving.
Sessions at this conference are designed to address the specific challenges and opportunities of funders with few or no staff by building and strengthening core skills, examining advanced topics, and exploring trends. Submission deadline is November 1.
We invite Exponent Philanthropy members to serve as reviewers of the 2020 National Conference Call for Sessions. As a reviewer, you will work alongside the Exponent Philanthropy Programs & Services Committee to evaluate proposals received through this year’s call for sessions.
We invite members who have expertise in the following categories to apply:
- Foundation administration
- Foundation governance
- Grantmaking practices
- Foundation investment practices
We welcome all members to join in the review, and in particular, we invite members with these perspectives: millennials, people who hold donor advised funds, staff who are not EDs, trustees from unstaffed foundation, and board or staff who are people of color.
The Call for Reviewers is now closed. If you have any questions, please contact Lauren Kotkin at 202-580-6560 or email@example.com.
