      Angie Briones
      Director of Grantmaking and Strategic Initiatives, Castellano Family Foundation

      Angie has more than 25 years of executive leadership, senior management, and consulting experience in the nonprofit sector with expertise in change management and transitions, strategic planning, fundraising, financial management, and administration. She has worked with diverse nonprofit organizations in Silicon Valley and throughout the Southwest helping them develop and fund programs to improve educational, employment, housing, and economic opportunities for Latinos and low-income people. Angie has more than 18 years of experience in philanthropy with a focus on corporate and foundation relations. She held previously held positions as program officer for The Health Trust and regional grantmaking consultant for the Levi Strauss Foundation.

       

      Brendan McCormick
      Manager, Research and Education Exponent Philanthropy

      Brendan works with staff, members, and partners to develop resources grounded in research that relate to impact and evaluation, foundation investments, community foundations, and DAFs, and leads Exponent’s efforts to learn more about our community of lean funders. Brendan has worked in philanthropy and grantmaking with the National Trust for Historic Preservation and the Greater Washington Community Foundation. He earned his master’s degree in public policy at the University of Maryland where he focused on nonprofit management and social policy.
