Foundation Transitions Virtual Seminar Module 2: Financial Decisions Today that Impact Tomorrow

Thoughtful planning can help you build and preserve financial assets and leave a legacy for your community and the causes you care about. Explore how your philanthropic values, financial and spending goals, and planning strategies can lead the way to a meaningful legacy for the foundation. How do you frame the key questions around a board’s values and goals? We’ll explore some key values-based questions that impact your financial decisions.   

By the end of this module participants will be able to:  

  • Understand how short-term and long-term goals impact your financial decision-making. 
  • Discuss tactics your foundation can use to ensure your financial goals are aligned with your values.  

Note: No advanced preparation is needed for this module. The program knowledge level for this module is basic, and there are no programmatic prerequisites for attendance.

**Continuing Education Credits
Exponent Philanthropy is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.nasbaregistry.org.

The delivery method for this module is Group Internet Based. Participants who attend the module in its entirety are eligible to receive 1 CPE credit or hour of instruction in the area of Finance. In accordance with the standards of the National Registry of CPE Sponsors, CPE credits are granted based on a 50-minute hour. 

Exponent Philanthropy staff will monitor participation as per NASBA guidelines.
