This afternoon’s chat is for those who consider themselves very small funders, with less than ~$250,000 to distribute each year. Whether your foundation is staffed or not, you’re welcome to network with colleagues.
This Virtual Roundtable is a unique member-only opportunity to keep vital connections within our membership during these uncertain times. If you would like to join in on the conversation, please reach out to Brian Bates, our Member Relations Specialist, about becoming a member!
About Virtual Roundtables
Picture a busy conference ballroom. You gravitate to a small circle of peers and join in the conversation. You find a common topic and pull up chairs to dig in, share knowledge, and ask about each other’s experiences. Now, picture this virtually – that’s an Exponent Philanthropy Virtual Roundtable!
These networking opportunities have no formal program. There are no speakers, agendas, or slides. They are low-key opportunities that allow you and a few other practitioners to share in a conversation of mutual interest. Our hope is that you’ll be open with your peers and able to talk through your unique challenges together and that you’ll leave with a renewed sense of community and peer connections.
Dig into topics that you are passionate about or have an interest in. Bring your experience to share with and your questions to ask of your colleagues, including anything from grantmaking strategies and foundation operations to managing your role in philanthropy to regional concerns.
We’re using the platform Remo for Virtual Roundtables. You’ll need to use a desktop, laptop, or phone with Chrome or Safari as your browser. To access the conversation, you’ll receive an email with a link before the program.
